Realtime dashboard for likes and +1s. Notifies you in a browser window about new likes and +1s on another page in real time. This is a technology demo and not intended for use in a production environment.
Loveboard currently uses Pusher and PHP, but maybe there will be a node.js/Socket.IO version at some point in the future.
You can try Loveboard by opening the Dashboard and the Demo in two separate windows, position them side by side and clicking the Like and +1 buttons.
Please note: The demonstration uses the free Sandbox plan of Pusher and therefore only allows 20 connections and 100,000 messages per day. If these limits are exceeded, the demonstration will no longer work on this day.
As mentioned above, Loveboard is intended to be a technology demonstration and is definitely not ready for production use. If you want to play around or contribute to the project, here is some advice how to install Loveboard.
git clone git://github.com/florianeckerstorfer/Loveboard.git ./
git submodule init
git submodule update
cp data/pusher.php.sample data/pusher.php
- Change the three constants in
chmod -R 777 data/
